Our Story: Building Software That Cattle Producers Actually Need
Cattly was born out of frustration with the state of cattle management software. The founders had worked in livestock operations and experienced firsthand how difficult it was to find management software that actually addressed the real challenges of running a feedlot.
The existing options were either too expensive for smaller operations, too complicated to use effectively, or focused on features that looked good in demos but didn't translate into useful tools for day-to-day cattle management.
Our Mission
Accessibility
Make professional-grade feedlot management tools accessible to every cattle producer, regardless of operation size
Efficiency

Tighter Margins
Rising input costs require more precise cost tracking and efficiency optimization
Compliance
Stricter regulations for medication tracking and food safety documentation
Sustainability
Consumer expectations around environmental sustainability have increased significantly
Labor Challenges
Workforce shortages make it harder to find skilled workers who understand livestock management
Cloud-Based
Access anywhere, automatic backups
Secure
Encrypted data, industry best practices
Mobile-Ready
Works on phones, tablets, computers
The Technology Behind Cattly
While we've worked hard to keep Cattly simple and intuitive to use, there's sophisticated technology running behind the scenes to make everything work seamlessly. The platform is built using modern cloud infrastructure, which means your data is automatically backed up and accessible from anywhere you have internet access.
You don't need to worry about maintaining servers, installing updates, or managing backups – all of that happens automatically. Security is a top priority. Your operation's data is valuable and potentially sensitive, and we take protecting it seriously.
Industry-Standard Security
All data transmission is encrypted, and we follow industry best practices for data security and privacy. You control who has access to your account.
Our Commitment to Continuous Improvement
We don't view Cattly as a finished product that's done and complete. The cattle industry evolves, regulations change, new management practices emerge, and user needs shift over time. We're committed to continually improving and expanding Cattly to keep pace with these changes.
